  • Building a portfolio of 15-20 startup investments over a few years is important for diversifying your risk and setting the stage to achieve strong returns. Historically, most founders required that angels invest a minimum of $25K or $50K, which is not feasible for many people.

    We made it easier to get started, allowing you to invest as little as $3K as an Everybody Ventures member.

  • Startup investing is typically only accessible if you're an accredited investor, where you make $200K/year for at least two years or have a net worth of at least $1M, or through public crowdfunding where you have to sort through thousands of deals.

  • Yes. Similar to a traditional VC firm, Everybody Ventures pools investor funds to invests in high-growth startups. Our partnership with PIN allows us to accept investment contributions from non-accredited & accredited investors alike. Other than that, we invest into the same high-growth companies as our more exclusive contemporaries. We’re the VC fund for everyday investors.

  • We’re in a completely different league. Equity crowdfunding platforms raise money for individual startup ventures, and we are forming a registered investment fund that invests in many startups. Equity crowdfunding operates under RegCF and RegA+ exemptions, which don’t allow you to pool money into a fund. Everybody Ventures doesn’t have that restriction. Everybody Ventures’ professionally-managed fund pools investor money to invest into private, venture-backed companies on your behalf. With Everybody Ventures, you can invest into the highest potential companies in the world at the click of a button.

  • $3k minimum commitment. Most venture capital funds have a minimum commitment requirement of $100k. We created a new investment vehicle to lower the barrier of entry to angel investing.

    • We’re empowering both accredited and non-accredited investors to invest in the startups we curate through our platform, and we anticipate that our community will be extremely diverse.

    • Our community members can invest relatively small checks into startups ($3K minimum).

    • We have a traditional fund in addition to our investment club meaning that we’re able to invest in the next round of companies that this community invests in, providing some of our Everybody Ventures companies with additional firepower down the road.

  • We’re focused on consumer businesses at the intersection of pop culture and technology. Industries will include fintech, gaming, consumer packaged goods, health, creator economy, future of work, social media, entertainment, music-tech, sustainability, and anything related to pop culture.

  • Anyone over the age of 18 who wants to learn how to invest in startups and actually start writing checks and building their very own portfolio now! Investors can be located anywhere in the world!

    1. Keep the community a safe place. Treat others with respect, always, and bring up any safety concerns immediately to a member of the Everybody Ventures team.

    2. Learn. Take a look at the resources available in the resource center, join our calls with experts, and ask questions in our investors-only Slack group.

    3. Vote on investments. Each member is required to vote on 2/3 of all investments.

    4. Help companies. Provide product feedback at the alpha/beta stage, make customer and employee intros, offer any functional expertise you can provide, promote your portfolio’s product / service on social media, and generally be willing to lend a hand to founders. With a community of our size, we have the unique ability to provide real value to the companies we invest in – let’s leverage that to help our community get into the best deals. As a guideline, each investor should strive to help at least once per month.

    5. Support diversity and inclusion. This community is built upon the foundational belief that everyone should be able to build an angel portfolio, regardless of background. We want to do everything we can to further DEI in venture capital.

  • Our team will present each deal through an investment memo for our community to review. Each member has the opportunity to simply select yes or no for each investment opportunity. Majority vote wins.

  • We have partnered with PIN, an investment platform, that will handle all of the deal closings. The process has been designed to be extremely simple for our community members!

  • Investing is hard, and venture capital investing is even harder. It's our mission to take the guesswork out of it and invest your money seriously. That’s why Everybody Ventures takes a multi-faceted approach to finding venture-backable startups, including:

    ‍Each channel has unique processes for vetting each opportunity, and we invest alongside other VC funds wherever possible. This system of checks and balances is designed to ensure that your money works as hard as you do. So, instead of getting rich quickly, you can think of our approach as investing patiently.

  • The Everybody Ventures team consists of analysts and investment professionals who’ve assessed and invested into high-growth companies for years—we’re veterans of traditional VC strategy and even better at revolutionizing it.

    Every prospective investment is analyzed individually on its own merits and within the context of its own market opportunity. Everybody Ventures also taps its investor base (that's you!) to provide insights into the challenges they face and the things they like. In other words, your insights and opinions shape our view of the world and how we choose to invest in companies.

    We’ll take care of boring analytical work, and together let’s invest in companies changing the world.

  • There is no guarantee of any return. You should only invest an amount of cash that you can truly afford to lose. While we hope you make money, there is zero guarantee of getting any return on the Everybody Ventures deals (or any angel deal). This is extremely important to understand before you invest with us.

  • You can invest as much ask would like. $3k is the minimum investment per member.

  • Yes, you can! Investments can be made through an SSN or entity’s EIN.

  • Each deal will have a Notion page that includes due diligence and analysis. We will have a live webinar or a recorded call with the founder for each opportunity.

  • Everybody Ventures members do not receive pro-rata rights. Everybody Ventures' fund and/or its LPs may invest in a follow-on round from time to time; however, Everybody Ventures does not write follow-on checks.

  • Accredited or Qualified Investors meet specific financial criteria which allow them to invest into exclusive assets, like traditional venture capital funds and other “alternative” assets. Financial criteria for Accredited Investors includes a head of household making $200K+ per year for two consecutive years, or an individual owning a net worth of $1M+ outside the value of their home. A Qualified Investor is typically a fund or family office that has $5M+ in investable assets.

    ‍Everybody Ventures Club’s fund structure allows us to accept investments from anyone, not just Accredited or Qualified Investors.

  • We don’t. Our partnership with PIN allows to create an investment club inclusive of accredited and non-accredited investors.
